The problem was well known to the BMW tech community, but it can’t be permanently repaired without a transmission. They really put a lot of effort into researching the problem, and reaching out to the BMW tech community. I applaud them on their efforts; there was nothing they could really do and I knew that was a possibility to begin with. They even called to ask about our annual inspection, and washed and vacuumed the car too! I would use the following to describe the shop and technicians. Clean. Professional. Thoughtful. Well-spoken. Accessible. Empathetic.
